Obituary

Carol Louise (Thompson) Squier, 88, passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 28, 2019 after an extended period of declining health.

Carol was born in Winthrop, MA on December 30, 1930, the daughter of the late Alfred and Lillian Thompson. Carol is survived by her husband, John Squier with whom she shared 66 years of marriage. Jack would say that he and Carol grew up together, sharing life’s ups and downs. She was the beloved mother of her daughters, Karen Squier of Millis and Vickie Squier Pelletier of Nashua, NH. Carol was also survived by her grandchildren, Jack Pelletier and his wife Shan and Jamie Pelletier and his wife, Nirali. She was also survived her great granddaughter Maya James Pelletier. Carol was pre-deceased by her son-in-law James Pelletier.

Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Along with her family, she adored the many dogs she had over the years. Carol had a quick sense of humor and delighted in playing little jokes, particularly on her unsuspecting husband. People who knew Carol would say that she was one of the sweetest ladies they ever met.

Visiting hours will be held at Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home, 90 Curve Street, Millis, MA on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11:00amat Prospect Hill Cemetery, Auburn Road, Millis, MA.

Karen, Vickie and Jack
The Dougherty kids informed us of Carol's passing . Sally & I are the remaining Thompson cousins. In a passing irony. Our Grandmother, Elizibeth Thompson, aka Gaga, was 88 years old when she passed.
Wanted you to know Sal and I are thinking of you all as you put Carol to rest.
Love to you all. Tom
