She also worked a Turret Lathe and a large Blanchard Grinder. As the war was winding down, she was transferred to the blueprint department.

Hello Janet and siblings,

Lucky Lilja was kind enough to let me know about your mother. What an interesting life she had! She and your dad, both such kind-hearted easygoing people. I will remember always the after school times we cooked at your house, under your mom's supervision. You know, I used to feel a little jealous of your home situation - parents at home, your mom after school and both parents at dinner, every night. I wish I had seen more of her artwork - perhaps one day. It seems she found a satisfying and appreciative environment for her to share her skill.

Please accept my sincere condolences for both your mother, and belatedly for your dad - he was a prince of a man, as you all surely know. Janet - you have my email; you and family always welcome to visit here - when our borders are open again.

Tranquil night to you all,
Beth Gould Roberson
