i grew up in Medfield in the 50's and 60's and George was my favorite cop, he was a lot of peoples favorite cop - according to my father, George stepped up in the line of duty several times and was very well respected - rest in peace George, you're remembered and that's important

I have very fond memories of Sarge at the Charles, be it for a beer or a meal. He was quick with a joke and always had a hearty laugh.

I will always have fond memories of George and my dad, Don Pettis, sharing laughs and drinks down at Victory Lane. He enjoyed your company and spoke very highly of you. I am sure he was there to greet you at the gates with a cold one. You were a true gentleman. God Bless. Debbie Pettis Tangney
